| I am very drawn to showcasing everyday objects in a way that you would least expect to see them. I love to find and capture that perfect moment, when everything is moving so fast I need to stop it. Take a step back, inspect it, make sense of it to myself. What attracts me to each moment differs, but my images are generally very simple and graphic. Growing up in chaotic cities has taught me to put seemingly random objects in a beautiful whole. I try to create an order within my images, which is how I view my work at this time of my life. We needed to make clothes looked like they were alive with people wearing and moving in them but we did not want actual people to do this. We wanted the clothes to look alive and they did. So dear patient Burcu worked her tail off to get these clothes to come to life with her beautiful lighting and her “Burcu touch”. The photos looked like magic.
